thinking about getting a new laptop... but i have decided it would be prudent to wait till fall 2010. after ten years of usb 2.0... finally usb 3.0 is coming. the only really cool innovation i can think of in the last few years is multi-touch track pads and also moderately faster cpus. oh and there is ssd but that is not such a huge deal to me. i am hoping in a year i can find something good enough to make me not miss my p7120. here is what i am looking for, hopefully it will exist in a year or less. right now the stupid ass netbooks are shitting up the compact notebook market:
