Last time I checked, non-profits companies are still private...so the upshot here is Obama's health care "reform" will to spend some money subsidizing the current system? Oh, and it will now be illegal not to buy shitty, overpriced insurance. Glorious.
Ok, here's the plan. We found the DePaul "Healthy Kids Awesome Fun Club." Our mission statement will be "Complying with Federal Law/Not dying." We get funding from the school, and we buy some damn health care.
Quoted: Kathleen Sebelius, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, said on Sunday morning that an additional government insurer is “not the essential element” of the administration’s plan to overhaul the country’s health care system. “I think there will be a competitor to private insurers,” she said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”
