You must be Tim's friend before you can comment on this Fave.Nice photos, including of Umpire Roels. Herkner's is ditching their own historical image for a place with free parking in Cascade.
BUT they are taking all of the fixtures and decor of their old store to the new one. the interior of the new store is supposed to be very similar to the current one. what a shame -- it's such a nice store in such a nice location. i didn't mind paying $1.50 for an hour of being downtown, seeing the store, and whiling away the extra meter time drinking a cold drink while reading the newspapers in schulers.
that style of baseball sounds fun. we should all try it sometime. no broken fingers for me, though.
