Why I'm happy to consider myself a postmodernist. I spent hours editing this speech, leaving out all the stuff about Perl, since I think the geekishness put off lots of other people who might be interested in this take on postmodernism. I emailed Mr Wall to see if I could submit it for publication a few places I thought might be interested, but he never responded. bummer.
