Never heard of Ex Nihilo, so the marketing has worked a little. Still not paying $125 for a 1/2 bottle though
Quoted: Ex Nihilo Vineyards Inc. near Kelowna will begin marketing their limited-edition "Sympathy for the Devil" icewine on May 1 after the company worked out a deal with Mick and the boys to form a licensing partnership.

Ended up here on Sunday - not a busy night (another couple came in 10 minutes after us, and we were probably the only 4 customers that night)
I had the Wild Boar Zharkoe - a meat stew with a bread top that soaks up the juices as you eat it. Lisa had the Porcini Blinis and the roasted veggies. More than enough for 2 meals, and great flavor.
This place ain't cheap, and that's probably why they weren't busy, but the food was really good.

The author of this piece was surprised to find how many rich, satisfyling wines he was able to find for under $15.
1 FaverViewed: 3 TimesQuoted: The NYTimes recently reported that the sputtering economy and soaring food costs are forcing Americans to become thriftier at the table. Among other things, restaurant alcohol sales are down, and discount domestic beers are gaining at the expense of pricier imports. Wine went unmentioned, but strapped oenophiles are also scaling back.
