Obama’s Comments on Israel Stir Criticism in U.S. - NYTimes.com

Obama should stop pandering to people that would never vote for him in the first place and clarify a solid position.

Quoted: As the senator and his campaign have sought to explain his remarks to a pro-Israel lobby, they have been accused of backtracking, generating a new round of criticism at home among Jewish groups.

pandering is his 'solid position', in the sense that he has praised reagan and the right's history of bipartisanship. he is obviously making some unpalatable concessions, but i think it's naïve to think he wasn't going to do this sooner or later. like i said, i won't vote for him for these reasons.

he praised reagan (along with a handful of other presidents) on direct diplomacy--a jab at bush and mccain.

are you only voting on foreign policy issues (if yr voting at all)?

by the way, do you use skype anymore?

-not only direct diplomacy but their ability to push through agendas by garnering bipartisan support.
-i am voting for the green party, like i've said before. foreign policy is a large factor in this. if obama were less of a hawk i might be persuaded to vote for him.
-i haven't had skype for a while... why?

With Clear Victory, She Has Rationale to Fight On - New York Times

Hilary Clinton is not only a douchebag, but now, for the record, a warmonger with a frightening level of allegiance to Israel (see quote below from the NY Times). With Indiana being her next target, she's aligning her rhetoric even further towards the right-wing of things, showing that she is already willing to compromise with the Neo-Cons by using their play-book. So, on the one hand, she regrets her decision on the war in Iraq (playing up the left), but she's gung-ho as fuck about Iran (playing up the right). I guess electioneering is her response to Obama's search for novel bipartisanism. God, what a fucking douchebag...

Quoted: ““I want the Iranians to know that if I’m the president, we will attack Iran,” she said. “In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them.”
