"He is the son of a Presbyterian minister. He received a Masters in Poetry from Boston University at age 47, otherwise, he has spent 25 years working construction and building houses. He lives and works in Berkeley, California."

You must be SAWED-OFF SMILER BLOOD MAGNET's friend before you can comment on this Fave.hmm i thought the first one was a bit chauvinist (a 'she' is never working construction?). he reminds me of carl sandburg. maybe thats the style hes after? kinda humorless, though. too reminiscent of the character of 'barton' from the film 'barton fink', for me-- romanticizing the 'everyman'.
