Excellent. Very moist, just the right mix of light and dense, just the right amount of sweet.
I made it as a layer cake. Single recipe makes one layer 8 or 9 inches.
My mods: made the recipe as written first time. Second time, ran out of brown sugar, so used a little white sugar and a little agave nectar to make up the rest (but not quite the full amount). Cut down slightly on applesauce to accommodate extra liquid in agave.
